Southern Alberta Individualized Planning Association

To assist individuals with developmental disabilities to grow as valued and participating members of their community.

SRSAN has committees to complete their work. The following are the committees that help to get work done:

• Membership Committee
• Teaching Community Committee
• Developing Workshops Committee
• Social Events Committee
• Conference Planning Committee

There are groups that ask for SRSAN representation on their committees. People are elected at SRSAN meetings to represent SRSAN on outside committees. The SRSAN representative is required to bring back information on the work of the committee to the SRSAN meetings. These are the outside committees that SRSAN has representation on:

• Persons with Developmental Disabilities South Alberta Board Meeting reps - one east rep, one east back up, west rep and west back up.
• Southern Alberta Disability Action Team (SADAT) - 4 representatives
• Summit Planning Committee
