Word Power Brochure

Word Power, plain language translators, have been dedicated to working with companies and organizations to make documents and forms easy to read and understand for everyone. Here is an example of making a complex sentence easy to understand:

 Before:

IF the state finds that an individual has received a payment to which the individual was not entitled, whether or not the payment was due to the individuals fault or misrepresentation, the individual shall be liable to repay the state the total sum of the payment to which the individual was not entitled.

 After:

If the State agency finds that it gave you money you were not meant to have, you must pay it all back.

 

As well as adding pictures:

People with developmental disabilities on AISH usually have very limited income. Because of this, they need to be careful with their money and budget so that they can do the things that they want. Things that some people take for granted like taking part in sports, like bowling that a lot of people join leagues………
