SAIPA is a support to people with developmental disabilities, their personal networks, agency staff and the community. Our organization provides workshops and presentations on self advocacy, how to support it, how to make people more aware of the contributions of people with developmental disabilities and leadership courses. We are currently developing workshops in the following areas:

INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS In keeping with the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, SAIPA believes in the empowerment of individuals with disabilities and their families. CLIP 3 Respecting Individual Rights Individual Rights DVD has embraced many people's voices ~ individuals, staff, and guardians. The power of people's voices was used in creating this resource in which to raise awareness about the rights of individuals as full citizens in their community and to empower individuals to exercise their rights, control and choice.
