SAIPA assists people with developmental disabilities and their personal network in a planning session that will help them to develop a vision for the future that can be shared with others such as family, friends, community members, and agencies. SAIPA staff can assist a person and their personal network in the area of planning by using two primary planning tools, PATH and MAP. We also utilize Solution Circles if a network comes across a situation that is difficult to solve. When planning with a personal network, it may become apparent that the tool may not be conducive to what the planning is for and we can be flexible in modifying the tool or finding a planning tool that meets the network’s needs so that the process is meaningful. At this time, we are looking to develop a fee for service as we do not have a funding source for this service. We post more as it becomes available. Take a look at the brochure and the information package for more detailed information.
